Step 1 – You

What we need from you.

Submit a ​Quote Request ​today for an immediate, no obligation quote. Upon accepting the quote for service you will need to provide us with the following:

Two copies of the documents that need to be served. One to be served, and a second copy to be attached to the Affidavit of Service that we return to you for confirmation of service for the courts.

A large B4 self-address express post envelope so we can return the completed Affidavit of Service to you upon completion of service.

Download and complete our Information Form so we can let you know once service has been successful. Include a photograph of the person, where possible, and as many details about the person as you can.

Payment for service. We take payment upfront via an EFT with the following details or you can send a cheque or money order addressed to SC Doc Service with the documents. A paid-in-full invoice will be sent back to you upon job completion.

Step 2 – Us

Our time to shine.

We collect the documents from our PO Box and schedule service. We aim to service documents within 2-5 days of receiving them. If urgent service is required please let us know and we will make sure this happens. A premium may be charged for urgent service within 24 – 48hrs.

We attend the address you have provided to us, and locate the person to deliver the documents. At this time we make every effort to obtain an Acknowledgement of Service from the person, however not everyone is cooperative with this request. This is not essential when completing service by hand, and our Affidavit of Service will satisfy the courts that service has been completed.

Once service has been successful we complete an Affidavit of Service detailing the service process. This legal document is Us confirming we have completed service, and that the said person is in receipt of the required documents. The Affidavit is then witnessed by a Justice of the Peace before we return it to you.

We then package up the Affidavit of Service and the second copy of the documents, and return them to you in the self-addressed express post envelope you provided to us. We will also included a paid invoice for your records.

Making Service Efficient

To assist with efficiently achieving service of your documents we ask you to provide, where possible, some or all of the following information:

• A photograph of the person

• An alternate address ie. work, family member, gym, school, known time location

• Their vehicle details ie. colour, make, model, rego

• Information relating to our personal safety ie. previous domestic violence, behaviours, dangerous animals, avoiding service deliberately.

Attempts At Service

We offer Unlimited* attempts at service within 15km of Maroochydore CBD. Outside 15km, we still include multiple attempts at service. Rest assured, we operate 24/7 and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.

*Unlimited attempts at service is offered for close proximity work within 15km of Maroochydore CBD. This applies to one address only. At our discretion, we may offer to attempt a work or alternate address if located very close by. If information provided by you is old, wrong or not relevant, and an amendment to the instructions is required, additional fees will apply. This offer is provided at our discretion and fair use applies.
